Login Form Using Timer in C#.Net

This tutorial will teach you how to create the login form using Timer in C#.net.In this Example set the timer for 3 seconds. All the user validation for part check  through the Timer.

Timer Control

This control execute the process calling to the time Interval value. timer one of the few control that doesn’t display on the form during the run time of the programme.such controls always display on the component tray during the design of the programming.

Comman Properties

Interval : – Set the time Interval

Enable : – Set as to “True”

After create the windows form go to toolbox select the tool “Timer”

 

then drag on the form

 

after that select the timer you can see the timer Properties setting make it as  Enabled  true and Interval 3000. Interval 3000 means 3 secords set for Timer.

Logging into the application for the first time

By default, the login credentials for the Admin are as follows:

Username: Admin    

Password: 123

 

if the user Insert incorrect Username or Password display the Error Message:
“Incorrect Username and Password”
if the user Insert Username: Admin and Password: 123 display the Main form
you can use the following code snippet to add the records in to database. paste the code inside the Login button

            string uname = txtUser.Text;
            string pass = txtPass.Text;


            if(uname.Equals("Admin") && pass.Equals("123"))
            {
                Form2 f2 = new Form2();
                this.Hide();
                f2.Show();
            }
            else
            {
                lblmsg.Text = "Incorrect Username or Password";
            }


        }

Double click the Timer control on the component tray it will go timer1_Tick event

 {
    lblmsg.Text = "";
 }
